how the man's pursuit for immortality resulted in tantric procedures in ancient india?

To live long in perpetual youth and to experience the best in life have been the goals of all human beings.
The common man wants and have longings for such system, where there is no caste, creed, religious discrimination to attain this goal.
In India, the tantras offered such a system and, more importantly, admitted all into their fold  — irrespective of caste, creed or sex in an esoteric, but ingenious manner. The tantric concept of siddhi evolved certain pathways for disciplined aspirants. And inherent in that concept was the attainment of bodily immortality with even supernatural powers (animadi astasiddhi). This was reinforced by the mythical male-female symbolism, the union sublime of immortality.Buddhist pilgrims and the vajrayana seemed to have played a seminal role in this alchemical transmission.
Indian alchemy of both Sanskritic and Tamilian traditions, developed a wide variety a chemical processes for the ostensible transmutation of metals and preparation of elixir of life, in which mercury occupied a prime position.
eighteen samskaras or complex treatments, which were adopted for the potentiation of mercury were identified.

use of a wide variety of apparatus (mostly earthern), for distillation, sublimation, incineration, trituration to transmute the base metals into the noble one, and to make the perishable body an ever immortal one, were goals ever in sight, but never reached.
nevertheless, this pursuit  produced a major  spin-off in the direction of formulating certain mineral medicines.
The most important medicinal preparations belong to  a class of what are called the bhasma of metals and minerals.
that the Indian alchemists had realised the importance of medicinal preparation more than of the transmutation of base metals into gold.

GOD PARTICLE!

god particle is just one of the particles we have in our universe.
the pure energy or other wise called as cosmic energy in its prime time has been transformed in to various particles in the evolution of matter.
matter and energy are interchangeable.
matter is nothing but condensation of energy.
In this visible and perceivable universe every thing comes out of  cosmic consciousness other wise called as "god".
we can say we are all god particles.

Chakras or vortices of vital energy and specialty of the MAN!

  • How humans are superior & special in the nature?
Humans are the only living beings on earth with comprehensive discrimination and free choice over their actions. Only we humans are capable of consciously shaping and changing our life. humans can image, can be logical in thought. we, humans are  "I-conscious” and behave wilfully and  we also bear responsibility for our behaviour.
Thus humans  have to comply with cosmic karmic laws.
  • How chakras are useful for us?
chakras are receivers of cosmic energy(scalar energy) that nourishes our vital body. Chakras are those energy exchange centres through which the Cosmic energy flows in and out of the human body.
  • “Who am I?”who are you? who & what all of this nature? -
Examine yourself: Are you the body? The mind? Your qualities, thoughts or feelings? Or are you something else? As you continue to search more deeply you realise the more subtle aspects of your being, right up to the level of the elements. Then finally you recognise that you are not the Tattvas or Gunas either, and experience yourself as:  SAT – Eternal Existance;CHIT – consciousness ; ĀNANDA – bliss
  • What is the reason that the individual soul separates from God?
The cause lies in the principle of Ahamkāra, the ego. Here ego means ‘the will to exist’; it is the aspiration for manifestation and self-expression in the sense of “I want to exist”.
  • What is the aim and purpose of life ?
ongoing development and enlightenment of the consciousness, which achieves its ultimate expression in the conscious union of the individual soul (Jīvātmā) with the divine Self (Ātmā). The opening of the individual consciousness of the Jīvātma to the all-conscious-existence of the Ātma is called enlightenment or realisation.
  • Why we should meditate?
“Meditation,” or mental training, is a  process of familiarization with one's own mental life leading to long-lasting changes in cognition and emotion.

During meditation ,sustained electroencephalographic high-amplitude gamma-band oscillations and phase-synchrony are observed.
  • what will happen after death?
After death the physical body remains on the earth and decays; the elements detach from one another and return to their source. We again find ourselves as a bodiless, spiritual being in the astral plane because the subtle sheaths – the astral, mental and causal bodies – continue to exist. In these all our feelings, knowledge and memories remain. But there is one thing we lose after death - Kriyā Shakti , the ability to act. But  ichcha shakti will be there.

Energy vortices in Human being:
The Seven Chakras at a Glance

SCIENCE OF "sound"

sound affects our mind. sound we can   perceived is between 20 to 20000 hz frequencies.
mind has certain frequencies and we  categorize them as alfa, beeta, theta and gama waves. these frequencies can be modulated by certain frequencies of energy eaves. we know the sound is one form of energy.

thus, mantrams, are potentialized sounds, have their impact on the mind.
The syllables, the letters and their appropriate sounding were developed from such seed-sounds, which had their corresponding numerical value, colour, vibration and musical note.  Sanskrit is thus considered as the original language.
 Language degenerates as man degenerates.
The sound relating to the words, and the mind used for such words, are natural and eternal principles of Nature.

The impulse to utter, the respiration to utter, as also the voice to utter are the three Vedas that are eternal. While the respiration, the impulse to utter and the voice to utter are the same for all human beings, the languages they utter are different. While the former is natural, the latter is man-made.

mantrams have an impact on the mind and senses, and enable us to gain restrain over the attraction of the sense objects of the objective world. They help purifying the emotions and the mental body when uttered as suggested, and make the progress of the pilgrim easy on the Path of Light.
The mantrams have their roots in the seed-sounds. The seed-sounds are fully potential ones and are essentially fiery. They are 35 in number. Mantrams are diluted versions of the seed-sounds. Hymns are a further diluted version of the seed-sounds. Bhajans are a still diluted version. Depending upon the fitness of the persons and groups, the sounds are given.

The colours, vibrations and musical notes (hence the numerical values) keep changing as per intonation even in relation to the same letter - for instance OM.
Hence the approach to mantram, is towards the vibration set forth but not to the meaning.
the keys to sing a mantram are: (1) sound vibration (2) rhythmic utterance (3) intent (4) intonation (5) colour (6) centre and (7) symbol.

The mantrams have enough fire to transform aspirants.  They are capable of purifying the lower three bodies and even the surroundings. They are also magnetic, once purification happens. Almost all of them have the healing magnetism. They are proven for healing purposes and for Yogic (transformation) purposes. They treat Prana (life force) and teach Yoga. They work on the Ego of the student and step up his vibration so as to fuse him with the loving, enlightening and creative power of the Soul.

The Universe itself is built up from Tattvas(elements), and the sounds related to them carry the natural power. The 49 letters of Sanskrit relate to the key "SEVEN TIMES SEVEN". Each letter carries its colour or shade of colour.

THE SELF

what is  " self" ?
self' is like our body nurtured by food, thoughts, inputs from surroundings. its a part of mind. actually speaking, the mind is fluidic that takes what ever shape it perceives it to be. when it thinks we call it as manas. when it recollects the past events we call it as memory. when it analyses and discriminates we call it as budhi or intelligence. when it identifies and immerses with the inputs/ senses/ organs we call it as "ego".
as the mind attaches with the sensual inputs ,we can denominate the ego as false identification. its not reality because, as the senses perceive very minute fraction of inputs from our surroundings, what ever inputs and information we  receive is bits and pieces but not the whole. for example, the man can perceive the sound only in the range of 20 to 20000 hz and can see the energy that we called as visible spectrum in the very narrow range.
so,basically the operating system of the human hardware brain is called as mind. the basic rudimentary operating system when we born is just an  amalgamation of instincts.

But the Real self' is nothing but the experience at  individual level.

Actually loosing one's false self (other wise routinely called as mind ) by constant contemplation and meditation leads to realization that we are nothing but  a wave of cosmic beingness.
your existence
your beingness
your feeling 'I Am' (I exist)
your awareness
your consciousness
your spirit.

"The Real Self is subtler even than space, since It has no name and cannot be described;
neither the mind nor the senses can reach It nor comprehend (perceive) It.
It is pure consciousness (Beingness, awareness, existence itself).
That Self is empty like space, but it is not nothingness, since It is consciousness.
