Sri Rama is Dharma personified.

As a son he fulfilled his parents’ vows; as a warrior he upheld Dharma; as a king he protected the sovereignty of his realm; as a husband he strengthened family values, safeguarded his Ardhangi and honoured Saptapadi; as an elder brother he guided his siblings; as a scholar he revered knowledge and wisdom; as a philosopher he lived spiritual ideals; and as a father he passed on the legacy of selfless service.
By fulfilling every duty, Raja Rama became an eternal role model and inspiration for all humanity.

The personification of the attributeless Parabrahman, endowed with sattvic attributes, is known as a Divine Incarnation (Avatar).

Avatars should not be confused with Parabrahman itself.

They inspire humanity to attain the fourfold Purusharthas — Dharma, Artha, Kama, and Moksha.

శ్రీరాముడు ధర్మ స్వరూపుడు.

కుమారుడిగా తల్లిదండ్రుల ప్రతిజ్ఞలను నెరవేర్చాడు; యోధుడిగా ధర్మాన్ని నిలబెట్టాడు; రాజుగా రాజ్య సార్వభౌమత్వాన్ని కాపాడాడు; భర్తగా కుటుంబ విలువలను బలపరిచి, అర్ధాంగిని రక్షించి, సప్తపదిని గౌరవించాడు; అన్నగా తమ్ముళ్లను మార్గనిర్దేశం చేశాడు; విద్వాంసుడిగా జ్ఞానం, వివేకాన్ని ఆదరించాడు; తత్వవేత్తగా ఆధ్యాత్మిక సాధనలను ఆచరించాడు; తండ్రిగా నిస్వార్థ సేవా వారసత్వాన్ని అందించాడు.

ప్రతి కర్తవ్యాన్ని నెరవేర్చి రాజ రాముడు సమస్త మానవాళికి శాశ్వత ఆదర్శంగా, ప్రేరణగా నిలిచాడు.

నిర్గుణ పరబ్రహ్మం సాత్విక గుణాలతో వ్యక్తీకరించబడిన రూపమే దివ్యావతారం.

అవతారాలను పరబ్రహ్మంతో గందరగోళం పడకూడదు.

అవి మానవాళిని నాలుగు పురుషార్థాలు — ధర్మం, అర్థం, కామం, మోక్షం — సాధించేందుకు ప్రేరేపిస్తాయి.
